Ellen Fullman has been developing the Long String Instrument for over 30 years, exploring the acoustics of large, resonant spaces with her compositions and collaborative improvisations.
The Long String Instrument was first issued on Apollo Records in 1985 and then cited by Alvin Lucier in his Music 109: Notes on Experimental Music (Wesleyan University Press, 2012).
In 2004 Ellen Fullman recorded the album Ort in collaboration with Konrad Sprenger on Choose Records.

Konrad Sprenger is the pseudonym of Joerg Hiller, a composer, music producer and artist based in Berlin. He approaches the strings of the guitar as frequency generators, tuned and set into motion by electronically controlled mechanical actions. Sprenger currently released the album Stack Music on PAN.

The concert is organized by Archivio Conz in collaboration with Peter Kersten.
