GO KONKRET: A Eugen Gomringer Matinée
On 19th of January 2025 one day before his 100th birthday we celebrated the legacy of Eugen Gomringer, the father of Concrete Poetry, at the Akademie der Künste. It was an inspiring matinée filled with readings, films, and engaging discussions that showcased Gomringer’s profound influence on literature and visual arts.
Guests such as Ulrike Draesner, Nora Gomringer, Michael Lentz, Ulf Stolterfoht, Robert Kudielka, and Hubertus von Amelunxen brought Gomringer’s work to life, while the Poetry Corner allowed the audience to actively participate and connect with his vision.
Amazing editions and artworks from our collection were exhibited to highlight Gomringer’s major contribution to Fluxus and his lifelong friendship and partnership with Francesco Conz.
Archivio Conz in Collaboration with Centre Pompidou Paris presented Prix Bernard Heidsieck pour la litterature . The prize was presented to him by Jean-Max Colard (Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris) and Hubertus v. Amelunxen (Archivio Conz, Berlin).
