Biography
Maglione, whose real name Milvia Maglione Melasso di Bari, studied etching and photography in Italy, France and Switzerland. After organizing an exhibition on The Mona Lisa in homage to Marcel Duchamp, she participated in the early 1970s in Atelier A, coordinated by art critic Pierre Restany. Maglione associated with André Peyre de Mandiargues, Italo Calvino, Dino Buzzati, Jose Pierre, and among the artists Marcel Duchamp and Piero Manzoni. She was a lecturer at the University of Paris VIII for ten years in the department of fine arts.
