Renato Reigl (1943 in Venice, Italy – 2017 in Venice, Italy) was an Italian artist, writer, and key figure in the Fluxus movement and avant-garde art scene. Known for his multidisciplinary approach, Reigl’s work spanned various mediums including visual art, performance, and poetry. His involvement in Fluxus and collaboration with other leading avant-garde figures such as George Maciunas, Joseph Beuys, and Francesco Conz marked him as a vital contributor to the movement, where he embraced the intersections of art, life, and experimentation. Reigl's pieces often incorporated elements of chance, improvisation, and interactive audience participation, reflecting Fluxus’ ethos of breaking down the traditional barriers between artist and viewer.
